Heinz Ranch

Reno, Nevada. On the border of the Toiyabe National Forest, and just 12 minutes from downtown Reno, this 2,200-acre master-planned community was processed by Robert West. The 5,000 residential units are composed of 300 large-lot residential density, 3,000 medium density, and 1,700 high density. 181 acres are set aside for industrial/commercial, which allows for 27,600,000 sq ft. An additional 55 acres are set to allow 22,500,000 s ft of business for shops, restaurants, and professional services. Intended as a family-friendly community, there are over 170 acres set aside for two schools, two churches, and two assisted living or skilled nursing communities.
